Default Anyone else get reaction to Proraso green soap (old formula)?

I have used C.O. Bigelow cream and Omega soap for some time now, but not more than a day at a time between other things. A couple weeks ago I used it for 5 days straight while traveling and got a bad reaction to it. I love the feel/scent, however.

I can go back to using this only one day between others it has not been a problem that way, but I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if you have found a menthol/eucalyptus cream or soap you do NOT have a reaction to.

    Thanks!

I use C.O. Bigelow shaving cream fairly often, with no reaction. However, if you think it might be giving you some problems, by all means try something else. There ane enough products out there that you don't have to accept irritation.

Tabac is pretty much my "standard". Not mentholated, but niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

I posted this in the wrong forum, the Omega was the soap. I got confuzzled. Anyway, I can give the new Proraso green soap a shot.

I really think even if it is the same, I'm good for a couple days in a row without any irritation anyway.

I've occasionally had an inflamed skin reaction to Bigelow cream., probably the menthol eucalyptus so use it occasionally as part of a rotation with other products because of it's excellent performance.

Grab some Santa Maria Novella. Expensive, but lasts forever. I personally prefer it over Proraso.

I've been trying mightily to talk myself OUT of buying SMN, Till. Usually that means the smart money bets I will end up buying it.

Proraso old formula hasn't irritated me but I only shave every 2-3 days anyway (I am retired and don't always need to be clean-shaven). I don't even get that strong menthol feeling others talk about on here.

Had the same reaction after several days of use, it only gets occasional use now.

no reaction to proraso green here. I wouldn't say that I have sensitive skin, but i have noticed reactions from a few creams. Old spice original definitely didn't feel very comfortable on my face...

Proraso soap (tub) is my favorite and I used it exclusively for several years with a badger brush. However, using Proraso cream (tube) brushless caused irritation and redness. Strange.

I will try the new formula, though, when it becomes available.

    Thanks,
    Mike
