    Default Need a new balm

    Hi fellas,

Just the other day, I took a closer look at my Proraso stuff, and found, much to my surprise and chagrin, that they are chock full of Parabens.

I'm using the SFDR aftershave balm, which has been fine, but I really want to not stuff my face with Parabens. Any suggestions for a nice, neutral aftershave balm, without Parabens?

The Proraso balm has just been reformulated, it doesn't contain parabens anymore.

Razorock Aftershave Wax. Nice and thick, great smelling, and absorbs very well.

+1. I recently got some of this, and it does a great job on my face.

I really love Lea Balsam. Light scent, absorbs quickly, zero greasiness. AFAIK, it doesn't contain any parabens.

If you want a great aftershave balm that also smells amazing, try Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn aftershave balm. It's a bit on the pricey side at around $30+ a bottle, but it's all natural and it's very soothing. Did I also mention that the scent is amazing? ;)

I like Pre de Provence; it has a pretty limited ingredient list and I don't think any parabens. Its thicker than Proraso, but it is very moisturizing. It has a light sage scent that dissipates pretty quickly.
