It seemed to have taken me forever, and I'm sure he thought I was never going to get it finished. I received a handle from Badrunner13 a while back. I was finally able to get a knot from Larry at Whipped Dog. I went with a 26/65 Silvertip. I think it turned out pretty good.

I love it Johnnie!!! Great handle and I love the bloom on the head... the color of the knot looks closer to my fathers vintage brush...love it!! Nice job for your first restore!!

I have a copper handle from badrunner13 as well,balthough a more classic design. I love some of his modern aesthetics though, including his "Poison bottle" shapes.

Ken, it's amazing! It's like using a paint brush! I had no idea how HUGE a 26mm knot was. There is just enough stiffness, it's like lathering with warm soft feathers! I had a 4 pass shave this morning with my Sheraton, and still washed lather out of her at the end!
