Yep, That good for sure. In this day and age it's wonderful to find a top notch product that you don't have to worry about if it's worth the money or not.

+1 to Proraso; from their pre/post, creams and soaps and then the AS and balms I have not found a product und that label that hasn't performed yet.
Value for money, performance, access (not exclusive to ONE website like some products). This is the Italian Job of shaves.

I'm a Proraso newbie. New green seems nicely "medicated" and the post shave balm is pretty strong in it's cooling effect, but my skin is smooth and feels pampered.
The Proraso red is kind of hard to put a handle on scent-wise, but again, rich, rich lather and a nice glide.

Still working on what is apparently, my last tube of the 'old original' green-tube Proraso-----I love it. Probably in my top 2 favorites. I hope the new is identical or I'll probably drop it.
Until they reformulated, the #1 complaint was that Proraso had SLS and parabens in it, which is probably what motivated them to reformulate ( since the new formula doesn't have SLS and Parabens). What is great is that the new formula is as good as the old, if not better, an all too rare thing these days.

+1 to the new formulation of Proraso green. Got mine today, tried it out and performance is slightly better, seems slicker and I even used a touch less than my usual Bigelow amount, skin was left nicely hydrated, not greasy...as for the smell - very similar to the Bigelow, but yet slightly different, not bad or good, just every so slightly different. The menthol & eucalyptus was slightly less intense on the face, which is fine by me...and didn't get that weird after taste in my mouth like I seem to with the Bigelow if I lick my upper lip by accident. BTW, how does the red smell? Like a sandalwood should? And is the red the new formulation too? Thx
Thanks for the review of the new version of Proraso. I have about 8/10 of a tub of the old formulation left but when it gets low I will probably reorder.
so where is this available to buy? both green and red new creams? anyone know if brick and mortar stores in NYC have it yet?
Italian barber has both
