My third round with my new toy, it shaves very much the same as the featherweight but is much more eye appealing, and feels better in the hand
Love how i feel during the shave and after care is almost un needed, this will not be my last SE i need to try a few more, a few older ones in fact !

Very nice picture James. The G-Bar is one of my favorite SE's, one that will always be part of my rotation. Congrats on your new addition.

One thing about SE's, the price of them to add to the den makes them easier to love and try out !, thanks to "itsme" Dave i got to try out my first one and have enjoyed the heck out of that featherweight as well

I've heard over and over that there's a Feather SE blade that will fit the Valet Autostrops. Does anyone know where to get them? I'm not having much luck finding it.

RazorBladesandMore.com has them in stock. At $4.50 per 5 pack they are a little on the pricey side, but it is your face, so spoil it.

I felt much the same about going from an Old Type DE to a 1924 ER.
At first I was amazed at the performance of the OLD. By shave 3, it had gone to bleh.

The 1924 just got it done effortlessly :)

Why did you LOSERS pull me into this. The Push Button is becomming my go-to razor and I have quite a load of DE razors and blades.

I hope it wears of but I think I might be........a LOSER.

For some reason, I am not quite seduced by lather catchers and oc's. I like the look of the G bar but just don't feel I "need" it as I "needed" a Slim. I had a bit of DE RAD (cured by a Slim and a Tech) and even though the GEM PB is my current favourite, I don't show any signs of SE RAD yet.

The PB just feels so right that I am more likely to get a backup PB than something else. I do have an Injector on the way which might change the order a bit (it's on it's way for a few weeks now...)

This morning I shaved with a Feather FHS-5 which was at it's 5th shave. The blade was certainly showing signs it was past it's prime but I had an effortless 2 pass DFS anyway.
