I shaved with this beauty once. It was a unforgettable pleasant morning. I'll always return to it once in a while. That's for sure.

Not sure if one single edge razor could make a general LOSER, my Injector should arrive tomorrow so we will find out.
Joris (not the razor). If you consider it as a hobby, you shave for free.

That one is usually referred to as the 1924 because that's about when it first showed up in catalogs and ads, although someone came up with the unfortunate nickname of Shovelhead for it. It replaced the 1914 ER and was made until 1930 when the Improved Ever-Ready model replaced it.

Pretty decent razor, the frame tends to hold a lot of water so it takes an extra shake or two to empty it thoroughly, and it's a little trickier to open and close than the 1912's.

Thanks Tom... late nights and shiny bay stuff at ten bucks can lead to such things

Used the Cobra again today. This is quickly becoming my "go to" razor. Getting about 2 weeks out of each blade but with the higher cost of blades it is around the cost of DE blades so no savings/expense difference between it and DE. I do get a much closer shave that last longer than with any of my DE razors so it is worth it (to me anyway)

Day 6 with my Schick L3, it is less aggressive than my E3 but I am getting smooth shaves with it.

That Schick blade gave up on me at 9 shaves, that is about what I'm averaging with them. When I use the GEM Stainless Steel blades in my 1912 or OCMM I get around 15 shaves. I once got 20 with the GEM blades but I was pushing it to the limit for testing purposes.
