You're welcome. I think I will possibly try to buy another one. It would make a great travel razor for me. And like you said, it just looks cool.

Well I guess that I am going to have to join this illustrious group of LOSERs I just started back with SEs. I have a 1912 Ever Ready, 3 Gem Jrs. and an OCMM that I haven't used yet. I am really loving the shaves that I get out of the 1912, the verdict is still out on the Jr. as I had my first shave with it this morning and it was only OK using GEM SS blades.

lol if ralph and spot are BOTOCs mascots, would the LOSER thread have charlie sheen, for his "winning" stance ?

Charlie is the official spokesman for LOSER...Not for his love of SE's, but for his way of life. The man is an inspiration to all men with his life of always winning. The only other spokesman is the Most Interesting Man in the World.

We do not need mascots, because while we may be LOSERS, we are always WINNING, and winners do not need no cutesy cartons or smell goats

johnnie sent me some SE blades a while back, and they are the group buy blades, he told me i should probably give them a cork when i try them,

anyone else use these and go uncorked are they comfortable for you this way, Just wondering if i should give it a shot, or if its not worth trying

well when you put it like that, although my boss may find it wierd if i shave at the parts counter, a little break clean pre shave, some 0w20 lather, and some LL antifreeze A/S i should be good to go lol

I do a little palm or wrist strop. Seems to help that initial tug (applicable only if you feel that initial tug, else don't bother)

Had my first 1912 shave this morning. Very different from the MMOC. The MMOC is much more unforgiving. I think I'll acclimate to SE's with my 1912 before picking up the MMOC again. Lots of bark and bite.
