Default Kriss Kross Single Edge Razor

Kriss kross Single Edge Razor Pics This is one of my Favorites Love how head folds and you can just put it in your pocket, And its a Solid Made SE.

What kind of blades do these Razors use, Head doesn't open all the way, but when hold open you can see to clips in the Rear inside of the head.

That star 1912 looks identical to my GEM 1912. Same handle and everything.

You've got some real clean and interesting SEs there. I love the design of the old SEs...such fine and detailed craftsmanship.

I really like the metal "pirate's chest" case. I have one myself.

Sorry I can't add more data...I'm still the apprentice. But I'm sure some of the sage B&B SE scholars will offer their data points.

    Enjoy those sweet razors!

I love the look of the Kris Kross. I'd be willing to bet it folds that way beacuse its blades are meant to be honed and stoppped.

Very nice! The Kriss Kross originally used a proprietary blade, but a couple members have used a standard injector blade in them. The VAS is a VC1 from the 20's, and t will take a de-spined SE blade so you don't have to use the Feathers in it.

Maybe, but if it does it can only be Stopped on one side, cant see how boths sides can be stropped, but i don't think so because you would be Rubbing the plating of the head off if you strop it when its folded :o/ But i could be wrong.

The KrissKross used a 1/2 width spineless SE- I have one that came with my set. You need a KrissKross stropper, easily one of the coolest gadgets ever made.

I haven't seen a variant like yours, with the rear press-tab. Mine, and most I have seen, have a spring plate that mounts at the rear, and folds up over the head, with pressure on the top of the arch opening the spring plate to accept the blade. I can use mine with a Gem blade cut in half at the side detents, and being sure to round the corners with a file. If you have a chance, see if your will take a full-size despined Gem. If so, you're very fortunate! Nice razors!!
