Did a search in some boxes in the garage and found my black knob Krona this am.
Apparently, kosby needs to come over and take pictures for me. Maybe I should visit the Darkroom section of the site.
I just sold mine. Nice enough razor, but only had need for one mild-ish razor. That will be my 1951
Gillette Super Speed. Seldom use it; mostly a nostalgia thing. The go to tools are a R41 and Futur.

I get a wonderful shave from my Krona with a Feather. The Astras are nice too but a little less aggressive.
The Schick Krona is the Rodney Dangerfield of DE razors, IMO. It Gets no respect. It was designed by Schick to be a Gillette Reg Flare tip killer. It has the low profiled head that is one of the best for top lip shaving below the nose. A mild razor, not unlike the 1960's Reg Flare tip Super Speeds, and comes with an approx 4 in handle for big hands. I can not think of a better razor for a newbie with an average beard growth to start out with. It is a very capable razor and at present - still very cheap to acquire.Newbies may want to load it with an IP Red to start out and then load a Feather when your technique has evolved......
I like the look & shave of the Krona, my favorite blade with this is the Personna Medical, a very comfortable & efficient Razor.
