    Default A/S for the Heat

It hit 90 today! Most of my stuff bogs down in this heat. Past 95 they all but do.

Going to make an order tonight (frinday 4th) - any suggestions? I am thinking Coral Skin Food. I hear its good. What else?

    Thanks gents

Osage Rub, Alcolado Glacial, Barbasol Pacific Rush. Used all 3 the last couple record-breaking heat days here

Im in Ft. Worth, TX and the heat is starting to creep in now. I highly recommend Captain's Choice Bay Rum as the clove scent does not overwhelm in the heat. It is rather pricey but well worth the money.

If bay rum isn't for you definetly try some proraso splash and GFT Limes, can not go wrong there.

I might be the odd man out here but I use Old Spice Fresh. Very light scent and just a tiny bit cooling, combined with an Arko shave very nice for hot summer mornings!

Try this link http://theshavedenshop.com click on aftershave & cologne then scroll down and select The Shave Den Splash. You can select the Fragrance and you can even add menthol. Many have gotten SubZero and they rave about its Arctic Powers. JoAnna makes great products and many on this forum have used them. Take a look and give her a try. You should also consider going over to http://www.queencharlottesoaps.com and order the Vostok Shave Shaving Cream or Soap. I have the cream and it is an Arctic Blast and some of the best lather of any I tried. Here in N. Texas it is a very humid 93 today and just going to get hotter. I just received this morning the Vostok bathing soap. Click image for larger version.

Oh man am I glad I fell asleep yesterday and didn't order! Here's why; you know how many guys here think of Old Spice as the stuff their dad used? I hear allot of these guys wax poetic about it lol - even the guys who can't stand the smell lol. Well I grew up on a small island in the tropics. A Dutch colony called Curacao. It's hot as sin down there as well and there is a product that my old man always used that I thought had to have been a local thing... and maybe it is as i have never seen it up here. BUT on Toms aka mctmatt's link to http://theshavedenshop.com low and behold what do you think I saw? IT!!

The Very stuff my old man used when I was growing-up! I used to put it on thinking I was all big and stuff lol. Moreover it was cooling from what i recall!! I am so stoked! Even if as a man now myself I learn to not enjoy the scent. Having a bottle will meen allot to me - so thanks Tom!

I got some of thier "cool water" shaving cream and aftershave all mentholated as well! LOL - what a blast!
