Whats up guys! Been lurking around the site for awhile and figured why not join. I've been DE shaving for about two years or so and just recently (like as of today) took the plunge into straight razor shaving. My first stop was with Larry over at Whipped Dog for my Sight Unseen deal to get me started off. From what I've seen that was a perfect starting point. Look forward to chopping it up with you folks.

Welcome to B&B!
I, too, started DE but just a year ago and have started using a straight recently.
Stropping is fun, just don't try to go too fast at first ...
...and don't drop your str8 like I did and had to have it rehoned to repair the very tip that got bent!
(It fell while stropping, at least I was smart enough Not to try and catch a falling str8 ... and I was smart enough to be wearing pants
)
Variety is fun!
