Good job! Welcome and take your time before shaving your head- holding the razor at the right angles, without pressure, behind your head, might be a little more challenging!
I am hoping to acquire anything sandalwood, all help and information most welcome!

I'm a DE head shaver. Been using a DE razor for 6 weeks. Whilst I agree that light pressure is key for face shaving (more so on the neck area) the head shave is completely different. The skin on the head is alot tougher & tighter than the neck area so don't be afraid to apply a little more pressure if you're after that BBS feeling. I admit i did get the odd weeper or 2 when I first started on my head but now I can do it without so much as a nick and i usually get a BBS with 2 ATG passes and a little touch up if required.

That first great shave feels so good, it like a revelation. I remember feeling my face all day it was so smooth

Good job! If you didn't shave every day with your cartridge, I bet you'll start with your DE. I look forward to coming home from work, pouring a glass of my favorite scotch, and having a nice shave. It's become a daily routine, and it's so incredibly relaxing. Not to mention, my other half loves that I have a smooth stubble free face every day.
