    Default Jnat

A new AD, bunches of questions.

What is a JNAT and how much should I expect to spend?

    Japanese natural stone

I have seen priced as low as $100 and as high as $4000.

They can sell for a LOT more than 4k.

    Edit:
Jnats are, often, priced according to things other than performance; rarity and patterning are two such concerns amongst collectors, not to mention shape/size.
The thing is that you don't always need to spend a lot to get a great stone. One of my favorite Jnats cost 110 before shipping.
A full set of Nagura will add on to the cost - 40-150.00 depending on what you get and how big they are.
You don't NEED to have Nagura, but it makes the party better - so for me they're a must-have. How deep in the rabbit hole you go is up to you.

Bob, are you just looking for a final finisher, or are you looking to do a full progression using various nagura stones?

If you are just looking for a final finisher, I got a Ozuku Asagi from Maxim at japannatural stone for about 120 shipped.
