It's the deal of the day at West Coast Shaving...$10.99 down from $15.00. Shipping to me (FL) was only $2.88. This seems to be a well regarded French Soap, so this may be a good chance to finally try it.

I used the IR and really like it.

Institut Karite (IK) is a great soap. Good clean scent, lathers well, great protection, washes off easily, slick enough. I use it almost every day.

If I didn't already have 5 in my closet I would have bought more today.

Institut Karite is a fine French soap. I learned something important from buying it. At first I disliked the somewhat licorice scent. Thought about ditching it even without trying it. But I decided to leave it out in the bathroom for a few days. Turns out I actually began to like the scent. The lesson about my sense of smell system is... let my initial reaction to the scent pass and live with the scent for awhile. No immediate judgments.

Glad I did because IK (aka, IR...ha ha) is a fine performer.
