Default Anyone use shave soaps or creams for the shower?

Just curious, anyone use one of their shave soaps or creams in the shower as a bath soap?

I love Cella so much I'm thinking of trying it.

Just a little concerned that the scent will be too strong.

I used a puck of Caswell Massey in the shower, since it smelled nice but made such lousy lather.

I used Handmade Soap Company's soap as body soap after finding that it doesn't work so well as shaving soap. It was 'okay' but I binned it after it dried my skin.

Usually a soap that doesn't work well as a shaving soap ends up in the shower. Most of the time a poor shaving soap is a great bath soap. Lothantique le collectionneur was a soap that ended up in the shower, it was a terrible bath soap as well.

I think it would be difficult to use a cream in the shower, or a soft soap for that matter.

Like the others, I only relegate a shaving soap to the shower if it is a bad shaving soap. In general, shaving soaps are much more expensive than bath soaps, so it would be a waste to use a good shaving soap as a bath soap.

Try Hugo Naturals bath soaps. Lather them with a poof and you can shower with a lather that is pretty much as wonderful as the lather from a top-quality shave soap.

Would be a shame to use cella in that way. But I have used hard soaps in the bath if they don't lather well i.e. Williams

Started using Cella as a shower soap at work.

Does a nice job compared to the body wash that is supplied in the showers.

I am using my puck of Williams in the shower. I sure don't like to shave with it! I won't buy shaving soap just to use in the shower though. Many of the good shave soaps are a bit more expensive than good bath soaps.

My shave soaps that that do not end up working for me end up as a shower soap, or I just give them to my kids to play in the bath tub.

Only soaps that haven't worked for my shave.
