Haven't used the milk but the AS smelled like the soap to me.


I use AoS Sandalwood soap with DRH Sandalwood AS. They're not the same scent at all but work well enough. Actually, I always use the DRH Sandalwood AS.

Thanks. That is very helpful. I was stupefied when the Arlington Milk arrived and smelled nothing like the soap. I'd rather have a milk than a splash, but the scent is the most important to me.
My understanding is milks and lotions moisturize and soothe while the splashes cool and tighten the skin. Is this correct? I have been using Burts Bees aftershave, and I enjoy the way it feels. I don't want my skin to feel like a taught piece of leather.

Your assessment of Sandalwood should reflect that one uses it INSTEAD of a cologne du jour! I consider it dual purpose; aftershave and cologne. Great for trips; only have to pack one bottle!
