Biggest purchase 50 Feathers followed by 50 Gillette 7 O'clock Yellows.

Next purchase will most probably be 100 Astra SP's as the three are my favs.

My first, second, third, and fourth 100-pack purchases were Gillette Bleue Extras. Love those blades!

My first was a combined purchase, since they were both cheap... Instead of my usual couple of packs purchase, I recently bought 100 Shark SC's, and 100 Astras (I liked Sharks in the past, and love Astra blades for their consistant price/performance). The Shark SC was a brutal mistake. The yellow wrapper blades are nothing like the Sharks I used in the past. Still, I paid less for them than a 5 pack of Gillette super mango 10 blade cartridges.. I have about 93 of the Sharks left, if anyone wants them....

The Astras were spot on predictable in consistency. Dirt cheap, too. I have since bought another hundred (cheaper than 1 pack of cigarettes here in NJ), and a hundred Derbys as well (they are cheaper than dirt, and I couldn't resist.. Not too bad overall). That's the fun with DE blades. There are many really cheap blades out there that work very well. It doesn't hurt to buy a bunch of good candidates, and give away those that just don't work for you.

My very first 100-blade bulk purchase was of Feather blades. ASP, BIC, Perma-Sharp & Voskhod came afterwards (and most went out the door again...)

First hundred blades bought were Astras SP off ebay because of all the good news out there about them. They are ok but should have bought a sample pack first, I'll working on replacing them. If i can help it astras wont be a rebuy. Of course YMMV.

I tried them, liked them, and bought fifty. Then I bought another hundred. These blades are in my Top Two.

I bought 100 AsSPlats as my second bulk purchase. I really liked the Russian Yellows and I've heard good things about Blues and Blacks. But I can't justify buying any more blades! I have 100 Shark SS, and 300 Shark SC (they were only US 7¢ delivered) as well as 200 Lab Blues. I'll run out before my stock does ...

Just counted the blades I have last night. With 54 on hand, I'm going to work my way through most of them before taking the plunge. I really want to narrow it down to one or two. Two is probably better, just in case I cannot find one of them. Have some thoughts, but will reserve final judgement till after the supply is whittled down a bit more. I do know that I won't be getting Derby, Astra, 7:00, or Racer, but that's as far as I've progressed. Sometimes I'm a slow decider, but this has more to do with just getting my money's worth from what is on hand.

Astra SP because the blades worked well for me, and sell at a reasonable price.

My first 100 pack was of Crystal Platinum Chrome (Israeli Blue Personnas). THEN, I bought three 100 packs of Astra Superior Stainless (my current favorite), and then a 100 pack of Personna Lab Blue. I'm expecting shavepocalypse to occur at some point, so I'm stocking up as I can.
