My first hundred pack was the Astra SP deal on Amazon just a few minutes ago.

I originally went a shave or two on each type of blade through my custom picked out samples. Thought I liked Super Iridiums best but they weren't available by then. Bought a 50 pack of Feathers which were my second favorite.

Couldn't pass up the deal on these Astras though. Hope I like them. If not then I guess I'll try something else or just stick to the Feathers.

I'm going to place an order for 100 or 250 Personna Med Prep blades. After trying out many different blades, this is the one I'm going to use going forward. No more blade rotation!

Was going to get 100 Astra SPs but having found the Gillette Yellow blades that could well be my first 100. The SPs are great value though and may well change my mind and get a 100 of both!

Just did my first 100 blade purchase yesterday. Went with Astra SPs even though I've hardly dented my blade sampler. Really like the Astra and I like the idea of blades so cheap one can change them freely. At 8 cents, even a tightwad like me doesn't mind chucking them before they begin to pull and tear.

Even though my first 100 is Astra SPs, I'm going to try a sample of the Gillette Yellows since I hear such good things about them. May do the same as you.....

These were my first 100 blade purchase and they are now the only blades I use. They work in everything for me from my Muhle R89 to my new Tradere OC. Smooth, irritation free shaves and they are cheap enough that I don't feel bad using em only 2 or 3 times and then tossing them.

It's funny how we probably had a dozen or so cartridges in the past but now with this type of shaving 1000's of blades isn't uncommon!

Before that i bought a 50 of Feathers but decided they were not for me yet, maybe in a year or two.

I would have rather bought Shark SS but they were out and I needed blades.
