My first and only 100 blade buy was Derby Extras from Amazon. I won't be buying them again, not because the are a bad blade, just because they aren't available anywhere locally.

+1 The 100 Astras I recently bought should last about 2 years at my rate of use. Could be longer since I'm retiring in September and may move to every other day shaving. I really enjoy the shave more with a two day beard.

First was Red IPs. Then 200 Rapiras, 100 Super Iridiums, 300 PFTE SE, 250 more SIs and will probably buy another 100 SIs with the Polsivers. But I swear I don't have a problem.

About a year ago, I ordered 100 each of Astra, Shark, Feather, and Red IP, all in the same order from West Coast Shaving. They were out of Crystals at the time, so I will be getting 100 of those later as well as 100 Derbys. Brand loyalty? Me? No.

Astra Superior Stainless(Blue) at the beginning of the year. I use them as my benchmark blade. Dirt cheap, and do a good job.

My first large volume purchase was buying 500 NOS Gillette Bleues back when they were still being manufactured. Cost only $3.00 for ten blades at that time. Stupidly, I sold 250 of them in a moment of weakness.

Just bought 100 Personna Meds - will keep me going for a while as they usually last the guts of a week. Not trying any other blades as present as these are by far and away the best. As good for me as Feathers without the harshness.

I ordered 100 Astras today (first 100-blade purchase) and I am also debating ordering 100 Sharks eventually, the SS version impressed me so much that next I'm going to try the Chrome and see if I want to order that one. But I also want to try some more Russian blades and see if any of those may be better...

My first (& only) 100 pk purchase was Feather.

I wish I liked Astras more so - cost is great. I really want to, but they just don't do it for me. [If I see another Derby Extra I will scream & run away. I cannot stand those.]

Right now if I were to get another large pack, it would be 7 O'clock Yellow.

A 100 pack of Dorco ST-301s were my first purchase, and I bought them as my first blades ever! Luckily my face likes them, so not a bad buy at all!

I bought 200 Derby's and then 200 Personna Meds. I pif out the Derby's when I'm converting somebody then use then half the week.

Personna Super "Labs" of ebay. Three separate purchases of 100 each.
Soon thereafter, I bought 400 Voskhods, 300 Ladas, and 100 Rapira Swedes. I bought them all blind, but I'm very happy with all but the Ladas. The jury is still out on those, but they do work great in my Tech, so I'll probably keep them (no need to PM me asking for them). Personnas, voskhods, and Rapiras all work great.
