    Default Laptop problem

    I have an HP laptop that's about 3 years old. My battery won't hold a charge. If I unplug it and plug it back in I get a screen warning me that my battery is low. Can I buy a new battery and slove my problem or is this an indication that my computer is dying a slow ugly death?
