Default Brut Attitude in Glass bottle

I have been seeing these around in my local Wal-mart. So I decided to give it a try. I have no complaints...it works well. Scent is not overpowering and has decent staying power. I have to say that I have received more compliments with this aftershave than I have with my Paul Sebastian.
I like the PS better, but with the compliments I have been getting...I may change my mind. It appears as if this is definitely a sleeper.

I have had two bottles of it. It's a solid performer, with a generic aquatic smell. Good scent that few would find offensive, but it's also not in any way unique.

    Pretty low level of menthol.

I have never been able to buy a bottle of Brut because of Eddie Murphy's Delerious skit in the mid 80s. "Brut...by Faberge, those cheap mother******s".

I know I need to get over this and buy some, but I just can't help it.

Definitely one of my favorite aftershaves. I wish it were available at other stores however.

Picked up a bottle of Attitude just a couple of days ago myself fro the Wal-Mart Grocery. I thought it kind of strange that the 4 local Super centers didn't have nary a trace. So curious, I googled to do some research on this flavor of Brut I had never seen before. What I found out made me even more curious. I noticed there really wasn't any reviews about that popped up on google other than some posts from MichiganLover relly digging the glass bottle on B&B back from 2009 I think. I also found 2 small reviews from Basenotes and thats about it.

I what I did find is apparently there are or "were" several other Brut scents along the same lines as the Attitude. The Attitude glass bottle is blue, but they also have a orange bottle called 'Brut Euphoria'. They also have a silver bottle called 'Success' and another scent called 'Brut Revolution'.

Does anyone have any information on this Brut line of aftershaves?

Brut Revolution existed as a cologne, and aftershave about four years ago. It was a clone of the immensely popular Aqua Di Gio. I saw it for sale in Meijer (the Midwest's major competitor to Walmart) for around $22. It's now a discontinued product, and the aftershave was on closeout at Dollar Tree about a year, and a half ago.

Recently, I have been seeing a soap and deodorant in this scent available at Dollar General, and Dollar Tree. I think the product is being specifically produced for these kinds of stores, as the bar soap is a huge 8oz!! (I literally cut it in half to be able to use it) The soap, and deodorant both sell for $1.

They also made a Brut Revolution shave cream, its what I used before I found B&B. It was my favorite canned stuff and only costs $1. I haven't tried the soap or deodorant though. I like Brut Attitude but I have to get it off Walmart's website b/c they don't sell it locally where I live.

I will be heading to the dollar stores tommorrow then and see what I can find. It would be great if I could find that soap & deodorant. Thanks John! :)

Don't buy the deodorant! I made that mistake! It only lasts a few hours at most. I bought the one in the blue container (I know they have one in a maroon/redish one as well).

I've also tried the shaving gel, which is also a waste of money. It's in that group of cheap shaving creams/gels that just kinda hang onto your face without doing anything except awkwardly sitting on the surface of your skin.

And, to my surprise, the soap is actually amazing! After trying the first two Brut Revolution items, I didn't have high hopes for the soap. I liked it so much though I actually went back and purchased nine bars that are currently sitting in reserve (soap doesn't go bad right? haha).

The soap is really good stuff; the rest just looks good.

Dollar Tree has both the soap, and deodorant (the shaving cream too I think). At Dollar General, I have seen only the deodorant (in the 100 items for $1 every day isle). Haven't looked for the soap at Dollar General.

The Attitude A/S (sniffed it in the store) took me back to my days as a youth (late 70's/early 80's) of smelling all the colognes and aftershaves they had at the drugstore. I'm not sure what exactly it was that was available back then that would smell like this.. but it was something! (I get the same thing with Skin Bracer Cooling Blue - there was something back in the late 70's/early 80's that smelled like it..)

Really? Brut in a glass bottle? Everything I see nowadays is in a plastic container...

Skin Bracer Cooling Blue I thought was somewhat reminiscent of the original Polo, which has a pine scent. Brut Attitude is maybe a little similar to Skin Bracer Cooling Blue, but not totally identical.

To me this stuff smells like Gillette Coolwave. Coolwave I can stand but attitude I haven't used it but maybe once. I have both.

This is pretty much what my sniffer is telling me also. If Skin Bracer Cooling Blue and Polo had a baby, they would name it Attitude. :)

hmm, I didn't really get that, but I'll have to pick up a bottle of the Attitude and see how it wears. I like Coolwave a lot, but it has such a strange dry-down, it starts off as a fairly complex scent, but after a few hours it dries down to
what I would call just "soapy" - which is why I always pair it with Grey Flannel EDT, so it kind of takes over after the Coolwave fades, because GF is kind of soapy too.

I actually just picked up a bottle of Brut Attitude this morning when I was at Wal Mart. I had never seen it before so I took a sniff. It was actually quite refreshing. I can't stand regular Brut and can only tolerate Musk, but the Attitude was a nice, fresh aquatic scent that reminds me of my Nivea Energy splash. I'll give it a shot tomorrow and I'll report back with a final verdict
