Having been feeling bad and in bed for most of the last 3 days, I finally was able to get a hot shower and shave. First time for 3 days growth with a straight (and I can barely remember going that long without a shave) and it couldn't have gone better. Went back to an old favorite and guaranteed quality shave

For those who have never tested the famous La Toja Manantiales shave soap in wooden bowl: this soap is exceptionally good, one of the finest I've ever used. Please help trying to convince the Henkel Iberica group to bring it back in production. 'Macfix Grosvenor' | EJ BChrome w/ Red IP | Proraso Crema Pre E Dopo Barba | TBS Maca Root SC | Nivea Replenished Post Shave Balm

After an excellent weekend, I had an excellent shave! TBS Maca Root is actually wonderful stuff. I really like the scent of the SC but the after shave doesn't have the same scent. Its very neutral but I used the Nivea instead b/c it paired well with the SC. Well I do hope you all have an excellent day and can't believe its going to be May 2morrow!

P.S. - It's very nice to see the Tabula Gratulatoria active again.

Speick cream + Simpson Duke3 Best + Gillette Fat Tech open Muhle with Gillette Platinum #1 + Myrsol Agua Balsámica with The Real Shaving balm


Although I got a good foam with Speick cream, the shave was bad: irritation, itching... A bad combination this Muhle open comb with Fat Tech handle... it's strange because when I tried it in Tech ball-end and Muhle R89 handles it worked well.


By the way, in this shave I have finished both TRS balm and Speick cream! The first cream I spend in almost two years, hahaha... too much rotations...
