Sampling aftershaves?

Does anyone have a recommended vendor that will put together a sample of aftershave balms, soaps, etc? I'm not necessarily looking for a pre-packaged sample pack, but I hesitate to drop $20+ bucks on an ASB that might not (let's be honest, probably won't) work on my skin. And of course, I'd like to try some of the classics, like Proraso, 444 etc that everyone seems to hold in high regard. I'm still a n00b, so I haven't tried many products.

In terms of soaps/shave creams, I've tried:
GFT: Didn't like…lather disappeared in no time
Mama Bear: Love the lubrication and scent, working my way through the soap sampler.
Union Street Soapworks: Didn't like, didn't lather well or maintain a consistency…scent was mediocre

Aftershave Balm:
Every Man Jack was my standby for a while, and I think I like it.
L'Occitane Cade: Just tried it, and I really like the scent and moisturizing qualities.
GFT Skin Food: Thought I liked it, until it made my skin break out…apparently too oily for me.

Garry has AS soap and cream samples and I've had a good experiences ordering from him. Truefitt and Hill sells a sampler of their creams and AS balms. There is a code for a B&B discount for T&H. GF Trumpers sells a cream sampler that comes with Skin Food samples and several cologne samples.

+1 on Garry, I've ordered a couple times from him now. You will get plenty of uses on aftershaves as long as you don't go over board with it. Just have to keep on top of it because he gets new stock every week or two, might get what you're looking for if it's he doesn't have it already. Just go to the main forum list and click on the vendors forum and look for the Garry's Sample shop latest post to see what he has in stock.

Remember the more you order from him the more it makes paying the shipping more satisfying!

Ditto. Cream samples come in little plastic containers, like Carmex-size. Perfect to try something out for the cost of a few bucks total.

I tried some AS samples from Garry and have been very pleased. There is enough (for me at least) for a good trial, perhaps 6 or 7 splashes. It only takes one whiff for my wife to decide if she likes it or not.
