Default Personal thanks to Oblique Human

I just had a brainwave and downloaded ShiftN, which was recomended on a photography forum. I've no idea if this is the best Lens Correction Software or anything but I'd like to thank Oblique Human for bringing my need for this to my attention! It only really becomes so evident as to be problematic in 28mm architectural shots, but boy does it show once it's been pointed out. This would have been particularly embarassing had I shown the couple of very sharp shots I've been lucky enough to get in large format
Thanks, man. I'll keep on plugging away.

You're very welcome Steve. You have a very good eye for composition and its not something one can learn, people either have the knack or they don't and you possess it in spades. Lens aberration is purely a technical glitch that occurs in even the highest end DSLR's. But correcting that skew does make a good picture perfect. I know how you abhor post-processing but, IMO, this slight correction doesn't really fall under the Post-proc category.

You have sparked that snap-itch in me again :) I have decided to ditch the planned S100 acquisition and have now set my eyes upon the new mirrorless cameras, especially the Sony NEX-5N. I look forward to viewing more of your work.

    Thanks very much.
Good call on the Sony. I've handled the NEX C3 is it called? and it was responsive with tight, fresh tones.
The S100 is good, I think everyone knows by now, but it's main attraction is the fact that it's a compact. The NEX is undoubtedly a step up in IQ, even from the d5100 if dpreviews is to be believed.
