    Looks kewl!!! Get the specs for brushes down and you could start selling them custom for each brush

    I don't know much about copper, but could the verdigris or pantina damage the hairs at all? If not, I think I have some more projects do start. :)

    How did you size the hole drilled into the wood ? How did you secure the copper once it was placed into the wood ?

    At first I thought I would like the copper to develop a nice verdigris over time, however I have read some things that indicate it might be hazardous, so I'm debating putting a sealant on the copper as someone suggested. I actually like the copper color as it is, so I think I might do this.

    Pretty much just chose a drill bit that was narrower than the tube, drilled the hole, and expanded the hole little by little by reaming it until the tube fit in snug. I will probably apply some sort of epoxy to hold it in place for the long run, as I'm sure with time it could loosen.
