    Default Lemon AOS?

I'm a lemon fan for most things, but not sure about this as a purchase just yet. Anyone recommend it or even a step further be willing to send over a sample of theirs? (will pay ship)

You can't go wrong with The Art of Shaving...any of their creams. They made some VERY good quality creams back in the old days and I'm sure they do still. Just buy it from a dept store instead of AOS themselves. That way if you don't like it, you can return it with no hassle.

I've owned 3 tubs of AOS Lemon, Lavender and Unscented -- all 3 were excellent in performance and smoothness.

I have the sandalwood scent AOS cream and the performance is outstanding. I've heard nothing but good things for AOS software on these boards. Nice avatar, BTW, Illadelphia.

I have the ocean kelp right now and it smells amazing. The only problem is with 3 Tobs, co biggs, razorock, c&e and Floris here, it keeps getting pushed to the back of the rotation

I have owned tubs of Lemon, Lavender, and Sandalwood in the past. All stellar products.

I acquired a tub of Ocean Kelp this week (which I have been wanting to try since it came out). It too is a stellar product (although the scent is not at all reminiscent of the ocean, unless you're sitting in a pine grove beside the ocean) as well.

AOS Shaving Creams are top notch, no matter what scent you choose!!

I'm almost to the bottom of a tub of the lemon. One of my favorites and works fantastically!!!!

i just picked up a lemon and lavender headed from Winners (CDN version of TJ Max) for $8 & $10 a tub...so look forward to trying them out.

i sniffed them and they were both very nice, did a test lather from a sample i had and realized i'd overlooked these creams in that past

The lemon is very sweet - it's like lathering up with a big slice of lemon tart or lemon cream pie.

I love it, but if you're looking for a more natural/sharp/zesty citrus, maybe you won't like it so much.

already did a test lather of each, and love them both. kids think the Lavender smells like Fruit Loops (they think a few soaps smell like this) and the lemon i whipped up smelled great too.

Grabbed a tube from Bloomindales yesterday via the trade in your old can and get an AOS tube promotion. Used the lemon this morning. Very nice, but I seem to have trouble keeping a good lather with the AOS products.

my 2 test lathers were beyond my expectations. i scooped out an almond size amount, took my damp boar to my scuttle and whipped. it was a little pasty, so i added a few drops of water, lathered some more, then a bit more water, and lathered more. it was rich, thick and creamy.

    play around, you'll get it.

What!! You found AOS at Winners? What city are you located in? I wonder if this is the stock that Henry Singer couldn't sell when they stopped selling AOS??? That price is also awesome.

As for scents I have tried Sandalwood, Lemon and Lavender and I would rank them in that order in personal preference. Would buy all again.

Winnipeg...they had Lemon, Lavender, Sandalwood and unscented at one time. along with the Pre and Post shave products.

i waited, like a good winnipeg would, for them to go on clearance. then picked up the Lemon and Lavender for $8 & $10 a tub. i left the unscented, but if it's there next time, i may pick it up and use it for trade and/or PIF.

The Ocean Kelp is very good in my opinion. I'm pretty sure all AOS creams are good. The Ocean Kelp has a citrus smell to it as well.

Its excellent stuff if you don't mind the price. If you have an AoS store near you, go check it out. They'll let you lather it up in the store and you can smell it. The lemon is my favorite of their scents.

I've tried the unscented and lavender and both have performed very well.

The AOS Lemon is a great performer - I prefer the performance of my AOS Lemon over my Castle Forbes Lime - but the scent of the CF Lime is a tad bit better, but AOS Lemon is not far behind because the Lemon smell is very natural and warm.
Great shaving cream - also own the AOS Lavender and Sandalwood, Stellar products all of them, made by the same plant that makes the 3T's and DR Harris shaving creams too.

I like all the AOS creams and was also thinking about picking up the Lemon after sniffing in the store the other day. FYI...Sandalwood is their best seller followed by Unscented, Lavender and Lemon is at the bottom. PS Ocean Kelp coming out in travel sizes and a soap is purely dependent on how it sells over the next 6 months or so.

What's the skin-care like with these creams? I stopped in the Mall of America and really liked the scent of the lemon, but wasn't buying that day.
