Default Thinking of buying AOS kit...help me choose scent!

    Hey all,

I'm thinking about picking up a full size kit of AOS, as with compiled discounts, I've found them for what I think is a good price (pure badger brush, full size cream, pre-shave and a/s for $72, free shipping).

So here's the poll...which do you recommend? Choices are Sandalwood, Lemon and Lavender (I'm not interested in unscented).

I have both sandalwood & lavender. Both good quality. Lavender is pretty mild scent, sandalwood slightly more fragrant, but overall I'd still characterize it as very mild. For me it is a coin-flip between these two.

Wife got me my original set as a gift, so she got sandalwood 'cause she likes that. I later on got myself some lavender based on their recommendation that it is better for more sensitive skin. They steered me away from the lemon b/c of this.

I highly suggest smelling them before buying, especially their sandalwood. I found it to be quite different than the other soapmaker's version of sandalwood.

I've tried the sandalwood and lemon. The lemon is a nice refreshing summer scent while the sandalwood is more of a manly scent. I enjoy both of them.

I can get the full size kits for a similar price through my credit card rewards site. I am holding out for Ocean Kelp, but would choose Sandalwood if I was buying today.

My gf and I found it to be well, for the lack of better word, repulsive. She and I agreed it smelled 'raw' and nothing like any other sandalwood we smelled. But yes, as always, YMMV.

What I dislike about the all the AOS scents is that they are not designed to last. I bought lemon for $35 last week and I feel that the money was wasted. I like my AS to last all day. Old Spice and English Leather do.

I have several products in both the lavender and the sandalwood. I have to say, though, that AOS sandalwood is the best of any sandalwood I've ever seen.

I voted for the Lavender as I find it one of the more subtle and natural lavenders. Sandalwood has never really been for me from any brand including AOS. Regardless of what you choose AOS is a fine product line.

It's $100 w/ free shipping through www.skinstore.com. 20% off coupon "LUVMOM" brings it to $80. If you go through Mr. Rebates, skinstore has a 10% cashback reward...10% of $80 = an additional $8 off, bringing the total to $72.

Big ol' +1. AOS is a great product line, and their sandalwood is probably the best I've ever smelled. I was compelled to go and get their ASB in sandalwood as well.

Has anyone tried the AOS Sandalwood cologne? I would bet that it has more staying power.
