.1 CBN on hangin TM Horsehide and .05 poly diamond on hanging TM steerhide. 5 laps on each and blade is back up and running.

How's that work for you? I would think those teeny particles would get "lost" in the nap of the horsehide.

Its pretty amazing, actually. To be fair it's an x-out, so the nap is not as luxurious as a top shelf normal production one, 5 laps on each one brings back the edge on my Kamisoris to root in HHTs...IMO half of that result is from the hanging strops' propensity to round the bevel, or even create a mini secondary bevel.

Those 2 strops are going in the ground with me :)
