Lack of artistic ability, no photoshop, and a crackpot idea have combined to create this monstrosity that might not even be feasible.
The lip at the top would be larger, and almost create a mushroom type shape that you would wedge your fingers underneath (almost like a sword crossguard or whatever that part is called). The bulb would sit nicely in your palm.
My idea is to have the handle cylindrical in shape with a reverse "golfball" effect to allow the water and soap to run between the fingers and the brush handle for a better grip. This prototype feels very comfortable in my hand.
Good luck to all.

I've got a cat named Beefeater and a dog named Beefeater, and two goldfish called Beefeater and Beefeater. There's Beefeater my hamster and Beefeater my horse, and my piglet, known as Beefeater of course.

One of my several hobbies is playing West African hand drums, particularly the goblet-shaped Djembe. It would be very cool to have a brush with the same general shape.

I tried a MMOC once. I've sinced switched to straight razor shaving because it was less dangerous.
Here is an example I did in keyshot, it is a low res rendering using mahogany texture

Its amazing what you can do on the computer now days. I remember spending days and weeks drawing nuts and bolts with a pencil then going back to hand letter and number the drawing. I'm not even that old! Am I???
Well here is my "custom" shaving handle for a brush. I always thought a duck call shaped one would be awesome. I could shave with it on my lanyard then drop it when they fly in!Anyways, not really sure on the dimensions just guessed about what might feel right. A little longer would be great for bowls or even face. A lot of calls have metal bands, not really necessary but they sure do look good. I think it would look good on any of the samples you pictured above and would be fairly easy, neat to do since most calls are spun on a lathe. As said, clueless on the dimensions.
Anyways, here are my MS Paint skills:
