    Default First Acrylic Turning

Though I am partial to wood, I wanted to try my hand at turning an acrylic handle. Obviously, there is nothing special here- just a very uncomplicated ergonomic profile. I just wanted to share. I would also like to thank Deruitem and BobFarvour for their guidance and encouragement with my first acrylic turning.

    Handle material- alternative horn
    Handle length- 50mm
    Knot- 22mm TGN Finest
    Loft- 48mm

That is a very sleek shape. I am not sure a radical shap would look good with that material. I do love that handle material though. Great job as always!

Nicely done! You sure you haven’t done this before? For your first attempt from what I can tell it turned out excellent. Goodwork.

The simplicity of the lines of the brush accentuates the striations. It is a perfect form for that material. Tres bon.

Flawless to my inexperienced eye. Very nice. I would love to shave with one.
