Hello BB,
I once tried seeing if Omega could repair my watch which is very old (manufacturing Date ~ 1940 ?) and they responded that the crown for this watch
is one that they no longer have. My jeweller who has long since retired now, had replaced it with a compatible crown a long time ago, but it has since broken.
Unfortunately the old crown is lost.
I cannot find any images of this watch on the web, but I have two images that are of similiar watches.
With my watch the difference is :
Similiar to the steel in ICCQ139 but my watch has plain pips instead of numbers and the oyster / body is gold.
In IKA263 the hands are the same as on my watch , the original crown knob on mine was quite tall with the Omega symbol in the centre .
Can anyone help or point me to someone who might be able to fix this watch ? Thanks in advance.
Best, John.
