Sumatra Gayo Mandheling, roasted to FC+ last night, so this morning might be a bit early, but I was out. I was drinking a central american last week (don't remember which) and the difference in acidity is noticeable. It's still there so the cup doesn't taste flat, but muted. Love a good Indonesian coffee.

CCD, paper, boiling water carried to the CCD, 4 minutes or so.

This morning was a SO espresso of Panama Elida Estate (a vaccuum packed sample from 2010), still very complex, fruity, rich, with great body. Pulled an espresso and this cappuccino...

    This sounds dellightful!

Sadly, my oversleeping made me miss my typical mornign brew. I had to reply on Charbucks in my office (sheds a single tear)

If I run out of coffee, there is a Starbucks within a 5 minute walk of my house. oh how I dislike the entire experience.

(Running out of coffee takes a lot of laziness on my part because if I don't get out to roast my own, there is a very good local roaster a mile away, but at 5:30AM, there aren't a lot of options)

Sidama ARDI natural from AJ Coffee Company via French Press. HOly DElicious cup of coffee!

I have some advice for you guys. Don't move. It's expensive, exhausting, time-consuming, and it keeps you away from B&B for about two weeks of time.

Baroida (barely City+). It's a favorite, but I was a little worried. For one, it was a touch lighter than I was aiming for. Second, I roasted it Saturday morning, and didn't try it at all until today - the first morning of my week long training trip to DC. My away-kit (hario mini, aeropress+disk) produced a sweet, spicy, and balanced cup - this bodes well for the week ahead.
