Ebay scale blanks

Anyone purchased any of the wood blanks from Ebay.I can't get access to rosewood and other woods where I'm at , so I'm stuck with international shipping all the time so if anyone has any experience let me know.

i have bought some 1/8 " woods from ebay vendors with no problems but make for certain it is the size u want. i always got 1/8 thick stock by what ever u need in sizes. BOL tom

I can say from experience, try not to buy anything MORE than 1/8 thick. It becomes a real pain thinning them down otherwise. Thick bulky scales aren't attractive (in my opinion).

The top ones being 3/16 is a bit thick but you might manage.

The bottom ones at 7/16, best stay away from unless you have some method to thin them out easily.

I haven't bought from that vendor, but have bought from packrats456 on ebay. You can send him a message and specify what you want. I haven't got around to using the blanks I got from him though.
