That couldn't happen. I just bought one of the last Le Grelots....ever....I mean...they wouldn't say that there weren't any more if there were more, right? Its not just an excuse to keep raising prices, right? TI wouldn't do that, would they?

Inside the box was the key to a warehouse in beautiful downtown burbank full to the ceiling with le grelots and covers four football fields.

I have a linen coming Monday for #3 there. Did I mention my 2012 Vey will be here tomorrow. And that Tim is working on my Michi-gane (Tamahagane) that is going to mate with the best Kanayama? The notovan mates with my first TZ. Bad is an understatement.

I'll post pics of them both. I'll have a matching pair. I understand he was refining yesterday so it's going to be a month or so before #2 arrives. #1 is a rest shaver.

Dang you got it bad bro!

Nice strops. How do you like the handles that attach directly to the strops on your tony millers? I'm thinking of picking up a steerhide with those handles to go with the TM horsehide with older style handles, when he starts taking orders again.
I guess I have it pretty bad too! Sheesh

I like them very much. I can't say what advantage there may be over the older style. On the other hand I can't imagine what is gained from them either. I think the handles are thicker on these. The novotan has cotton and the steer hide has linen. These really rock. I told these guys I didn't need more strops. LIke money in the bank I guess.

Tony's strops are addictive. It was worse when he had 3 different leathers...Hokahay would have 12 strops now if that was the case :)

The handles are great, IMO. I am having a slight learning curve dealing with the barber's cut ends on the Kanoyama, but its fun. The handles on TM strops are just grab and go...

I'm with you. I like handles. I like Kami, don't miss them on her.

Kent, you're just trying to find something wrong with the strop because it was so expensive

What's the leather of the third from the right and who makes it (looks like a TM)?

That's a TM horsehide. It's buffed so the draw is lighting fast.

Yeah, and the leather is so supple I get a cramp in my wrist from the lack of support when stropping. ;)
