A friend just gave me a present with the following:
Handmade scuttle (their design)
F.H. Loeffler straight (Rochester, NY)
Mountain Goat Brand strop (Rochester, NY)
A ton of vintage Treet, Pal, Star, and Gem SE blades

Since I live in Rochester, I've been searching for vintage Rochester shaving items. So this is the perfect gift for me. Now I just need to restore that strop and straight. I'll be trying the SE blades first thing tomorrow.

A couple of little things found in the wild this week. Two full Avon AS bottles, a spicy and a wild country. A nice condition cased Gem with an aluminium handle. And a nice leather travel case, no razor but good condition. I might use that.

Patent Nov 15 04 on lower handle. No hairline cracks .. teeth straight, bonus!!

Bulldogs have their serial number on the inside of the head. With that you can work out the date.

The only number i can find is the patent info on the lower handle. I checked inside the barrel, head ect. Here are a few more pics.

So the this past weekend I was a gifted a box from my father of miscellaneous items (he knows that I am into DE wetshaving as of late and found this at a garage sale) of what I thought were pencil sharpeners but turned out to be mechanical stroppers for double edge blades! Some work and some are in bad shape. Also was a Schick injector in the case, a straight razor and a Schick electric razor, and other stuff. I will be posting pictures and wanted to know if there is any interest in this stuff ( I appreciate my fathers thoughtfulness but not sure what I will do with it, he go the box of stuff for 5 bucks) So let me know what the thoughts are on what you see. I know that this is not the buy sell trade forum but I wasn't sure if there was any interest in the items. So again let me know what the thoughts are on my acquisitions and I can start a new thread in the BST or if someone wants something PM me!
