Yes, it is all that!! Simply a great razor that provides for effortless shaves, that are close, and comfortable. Plus it features USA construction to boot.
In my 3 years on B and B, I have probably own well over 100 razors, at this point in time I only own 2 DE razors: the Weber, and an Edwin Jagger DE89 Barley. I even sold off my Feather All Stainless in favor of the Weber.

It's a good razor that provides a nice, comfortable shave. As for appearance, to me it is not a "beautiful" razor. The handle does not look finished and I am not a fan of the "two-tone" look. However, it performs nicely and is reasonably priced.

...i have a Weber..... and it does deliver a good smooth shave.....
..........plus it is stainless steel and made in the USA.............

It may not be as refined looking as the higher end SS razors, but it's way more efficient and pretty smooth as well.

The Weber is certainly not ugly. It certainly is a good performer and I can't think of anything bad to say about...
Has it found a permanent place in my razor rotation?
No.
I have the DLC with the Bulldog handle. It is aesthetically pleasing and feels comfortable and solid in the hand. I expected more from the DLC coating - some sort of rainbow glide or unicorn down cushioning I guess. It is however an effective performer, but not aggressive. A nice razor indeed, but not my favourite.
I do prefer OC, so perhaps I'm not the best source for advice...

THIS THREAD, that I linked to above has everything possible about the Weber razor in it, including pictures. It's been going for almost two years.

I have the DLC/Classic Weber. Very nice "functional" build quality. Decent weight, good handle length and easy to use. It's a very good "all-around" razor in the same way my Fat Handle Triangle Slot Tech is a very good "all-around" razor. It's a great addition to anyone's razor collection to be sure. Probably not a bad idea to pick one up...it may be somewhat collectible down the road. I understand that even now, the DLC/Classic handle combination is no longer being produced.

Yes its an Awesome Razor, Just as good as a Feather AS D-1 without the learning Curve it requires from the Feather AS D-1. Def not as good looking or as Hefty as the Feather AS D-1 but also 3 times cheaper then the Feather Razor. Its all that and them some from my point of view :o)

Im just having fun :o)
Love my Weber! Mild on the face yet really efficient at whacking the whiskers. Some of my best shaves have been from my Weber, and the results are very predictable once you find the right blade for it. By that, I mean the blades that came with it were not good for my face at all, but I switched to my go-to blade and BAM! Great great shaves! I *almost* wish it didn't shave so well, then I could use it more often. I prefer my Gillette Tech's for daily use just b/c they are close and comfortable but not so close that I can't justify shaving again the next morning!![]()
