I'm wondering what experience you've had with Wilkinson Sword blades, the ones sold at Mall-Wart. How do they compare to other blades? Thanks.

They are a middle of the road blade for me. They aren't bad by any means, but nothing special either. I could use them in a pinch but I prefer sharper blades (Feather, Gillette 7 o'clock yellows) both are very smooth for me too.
They are a respectable decent blade. You can do better, you can do worse. Perfectly capable of delivering a good close shave.... I used one this morning in my Fat Handle TECH. Wanted to establish the pecking order.
Currently my Fat Handle TECH likes
FEATHER and PERSONNA Platinum in red wrapper first and second best. I use a slightly different technique with each of these blades.
ASTRA SP third best
and
Walmart Wilkie's 4th.

Thanks; that's helpful. Shaved with an Astra (actually two) this morning for the first time. Was comparing the Fat Boy to the Slim.
Good shave. The Slim side was more comfortable but, when all was said and done, the Fat Boy delivered the better shave. Totally BBS for the Fat Boy; DFS for the Slim. That was with three passes and some touch up following careful face prep. My lather, after two weeks of working it, is getting great. Gobs and gobs of it. I wind up looking like Father Christmas with each pass. ;O)
Pretty good discussion HERE

Are the Wally wilkies the standard German Wilkinson Sword blade ? White box ? If they are, I love them.
The odd world of blades, eh !
Fad has vanished but shave will be great forever. Thanks to lessons learned at B&B !
I bought a pack just the other day. Didn't REALLY need them, but it's good to see B&M stores carrying traditional shaving products.

I haven't tried them and they aren't in my variety pack, I think I would pick a lot of these other blades that have worked and have good reviews, although I'm not decided on a favorite blade yet, it's tough to tell.
Seems like there are a lot of cheap blades (i.e. Astra) that are just as cheap but better rated, so I guess I probably would try that first.
IMHO just fair. Not what they once were.
I've used them a few times they are about the middle of the road for me. They last 3-5 shaves for me in my Fatboy and get plenty close enough. I'm usually a straight shaver, though I've been using an injector a lot lately, but if I use a DE it's the Fatboy set on 9 with either Feather or Astra SP's very rarely will I toss in another blade and they work quite well.
I use them and they are as good as a blade needs to be.
I have far too much stuff to even begin to list it here...
They were the first blades i ever used, i like them, and i can get them easy :)
Agree w/ironfist. I've been back to DE shaving for about a year now. The Wally Wilkies are a convenient buy for me and do a passable job. Lately though, I've been thinking about giving the Gillette 7 O'clock yellows a try. they seem to get good reviews and are readily available on eBay.
It is decent. Not my favorite but it works well.
Between death and dying, there is me.
For me, I would put them as an OK blade...nothing special. Could use them in a pinch, but would choose something else first.

I throw one in once in a while. I want to like them but I don't.

They seem to work well, just used one this morning in my Super Speed. For $1.78 a 10 pack at Walmart, I would say an ok price. Astra SP's are my personal favorite and you can't beat the price when Amazon has them on sale for $9.99 or so per hundred.
