Got the whole set for £10 from the same old man who sold me my Bakelite Gillette and case a couple of weeks ago. Cleaned the razor with some toothpaste and it helped a bit. Anything I can put on it that's not too expensive? Was thinking about getting it replated as it was the razor I had been looking for

Got the whole set for £10
I clean my razors that are crudy with some washing powder and washing up liquid mixed up in warm water i'll let them soak for 15 mins then scrub them with a tooth brush then put them to soak the scrub again untill they are clean you'd be surprised just how easy they clean up if you soak them for a bit...
