    Default First Lords, now Astras

    I have been using Feathers and Gillette Yellows for the past year or two and have decided to try something new. I tried Lord stainless, and am very happy with them. This morning, I tried the Astras, and think they may even be able to edge out the Gillette Yellows, and challenge (but not beat out) Feather. A very close shave indeed. I think I like the Astras a little better than the Lords since they seem to shave closer, but I really need more shaves before I can say for sure.

    It might be that you've reached the skill level where you can make any half way decent blade work for you without thinking about it.

    I've found that I'm happy with all the Russian made Gillette blades, some are smoother some are sharper but all work well for me.
    It's really easy to believe someone when they tell you exactly what you want to hear.
