Guys, I'm looking for a new source for colored acrylic sheets, other than masecraft... hopefully with a better selection (more pearls, etc) and no, or lower, minimum order.
Thanks for any advice you can offer!![]()

They're pearl sheets can be a bit expensive and you have to order by phone (very minimal website) but they do have a pretty good selection and were nice to work with the last time I placed an order (a year or so ago):

I don't see "rods" on the list....where can you get a selection of this type in rod form?
Some plexiglass supply houses sell sample chains of their plexi...

Unfortunately, no. Some of their pearls (p18 of catalog) are listed as being 1/8" thick but the sheet I got was actually about 3/16". So I had to sand them down to my desired thickness (~3/32").
In order to speed things up I used about $5 worth of stuff from Home Depot to make a fixture that allowed me to use an electric palm sander on them. Just used some rubber cement to hold the slabs to the fixture, then rubbed the cement off with my thumb once I was done.
Would be very wasteful and time consuming on a 3/8" thick sheet though.
Am not positive, but I suspect they may actually pour some of the sheets themselves. May be worth asking if they have - or can get - 1/8 thick sheets...

Delvies plastics is a good company.
I have used clipboards.

Do you have an industrial sign shop in your town? I went to the sign shop, asked them if they had any off cuts in various colours. Made it subtly clear that I would pay cash and didn't need a receipt. The guy there hooked me up with enough acrylic to make dozens of razors, for beer money.
