    Default Yuma razor

....just tried the Yuma razor i purchased from Bestshave.net...

....not a bad little razor...... it is light, the finish is primitive, if feels as though if you tighten it too much the head will snap off (just guessing here), and you have to take care to align the blade just right, but it gives a decent shave...

..... it would be a good razor to take camping, etc........

.......it is very inexpensive, so not a big deal if you lost it.....

    ......great stocking stuffer.......!!!

....as i mentioned, the Yuma is a good razor for what it is....... i really don't think it would break easily.....

.... normal pressure will screw on the head well enough to shave......... it didn't come undone when i shave with it at all......

....on the other hand, i don't think i'd purchase the plastic razor that pipkicks gives the link to above....

The Yuma is a shoddy piece of pot metal but it shaves great. For $3 what can you expect? It's light and the handle is hollow making it a mic. You can hear the hairs snapping. Load that puppy with any of the Egyptian blades and you've got a decent beater of a razor.

I've mentioned elsewhere that my Yuma basically fell apart in my hand as soon as I unpacked it.

    It was filthy, too.

I just thought if you're going for a cheap one you don't mind losing that's super cheap. If I knew about these then I could tell newbies it's just the soap and brush, without the one I posted, the Yuma is as cheap or cheaper than a disposable cartridge razor.

I would be more impressed or interested if there weren't so many vintages available for a few bucks more. Bet a beat down user grade Gillette would do better....

It's so true but $3 to try a razor isn't bad. If anything, it's worth the case.

Yep, it's very cheaply made, but it works just fine - providing you take care to get the blade lined up properly.
