Default Whats the solution for an unruly beard?

And don't say shave that sucker off. I have coarse, somewhat curly facial hair and have had a beard for quite a few years. I keep it medium in length and have it trimmed by a barber once or twice a month and touch it up myself nearly daily.

The problem is, my beard is quite unruly. How can I make it more manageable? Are beard waxes or pomeades the answer? Maybe a hair relaxer? Who knows..

hmmm..........not sure of a nice way to say this, but you may have noticed this is a forum dedicated mainly to all things SHAVING and SHAVING-RELATED!!! We like to SHAVE-------if there is a beard or whiskers, we SHAVE them and enjoy doing so!! Straight razor SHAVEs, DE SHAVEs. The ultimate goal is a baby-butt smooth SHAVE. Most of us would probably SHAVE that sucker off if we were you, but we can't tell you what to do, except maybe look for a 'Stach & Beard Forum someplace!! :S

Huh? Many guys here have goatees, beards, stashes, etc. Our facial hair style can even change upon the season. Sometimes we have them, sometimes we don't. Some men will, some won't. Sure, we like to shave in this forum but B&B is a perfect place to get advise from guys about an unruly beard.

My advise... +1 on the conditioner and maybe a small dab of Golddachs Hungarian Beard Wax if conditioner isn't enough.

I bought some beard conditioner on Etsy.com, it worked great! about a month into using it i had to shave my beard off..anyway the name was "black beard" by plunk soap, it has a nice bay rum scent.
