    Default Summer Line Up Suggestions

Since it looks like it's going to be 100 this weekend, here's what I'm starting with: Proraso Green, KMF Lime, and Speick.

    Appreciate all suggestions.

I'm enjoying my QCS Lime sampler. I'm thinking it might be my first full-size order in a long time. Wish I could find KMF locally. Why did Trader Joe's dump them?

I've got half-filled tubs of Salter Sublime Citrus and Fresh Mint I hope to finish off by summer's end.

Did not realize you were going brushless , so these are probably not the best choice for that, however http://www.queencharlottesoaps.com does make a Vostok bath soap that I plan on purchasing because it gets hot in Texas too. Take a look at their site just for information purpose only. You might also consider getting some Osage Rub Aftershave, just read some of the post about it in the Aftershave forum.

Man I feel for you 100 already! Last year it hit 100 for a month straight and I thought I was going to die!!

Anyway – I have Nancy Boys Cucumber or rather Replenishing and its ok. I have Castle Forbs lime and it’s ok too – but when I mix them together!! Heaven - and in a “lighter” package too.

Of course anything mentholated... Speaking of mentholated, Proraso’s pre-shaveis awesome in summer.

If you are a fan of aftershaves then the Gentleman’s Refineries aftershave is hard to beat in the heat : ). I love the scent of their Black Ice cream too so it all works out as i am a fan of layering.

Anyway – when it turns hot and muggy, I find it’s the aftershave that always gets bogged down on me. Someone said the Sea Buckthorn and I love that stuff, but the aftershave is only good up to about 95 topps for me – after that it seems to melt on my face... even if its 5 hours after application. YMMV.

I definiteely won't be wearing a took for the kids soccer game today. I'll check out Gentleman's Refinery, and start a summer thread in the aftershave forum.

    Good Day, Eh!

I like D R Harris Arlington, Castle Forbes Lime, GFT Limes, GFT Coconut Oil, Proraso White Tub and TOBS St. James for warm weather. The floral scents are very nice in warm weather as well. PS Green Tea and Honey Bee's Victorian Rose are nice year round but very nice in the summer as well.

    Regards,

Santa Maria Novella and C.O. Bigelow for the most part. I won't be afraid to mix in some Acqua di Parma or RazoRock XXX either. Doubtful I will pull out the Tabac once it gets real humid.

Oh hey I just thought about Acca Kappa! I haven't "heat tested" any of thier stuff yet, but I love the 1869 Tub and aftershave. I bring it up as there is an Acca Kappa store in Vegas - maybe you could get a sample of all their stuff and report back - just saying.
