    Default eShave Creams?

Snagged some eShave Lavender today. I haven't been here very long, but I don't seem to see much talk about eShave stuff that often here. It appears that some guys really like it. I guess we'll see how it performs. I had to get it because it smells FANTASTIC, and will pair nicely with my favorite Speick splash on those days that I decide to go that route.

So what's the general opinion on eShave creams? Overshadowed by bigger names in their price bracket? The ones I have smelled were all very appealing... even the Cucumber (smells better than TOBS Avocado IMO). It's made in England, right? So if it performs like the other English creams, I will be a happy camper.

eShave has a great line up of products and is very underrated.

I have a couple of eShave travel kits in Verbena Lime and I think they're fantastic. the kit includes the pre-shave oil, cream & ASB. The oil I could take or leave, but the cream is fantastic (super slick) and the ASB is incredible. There has not been many products that make my face feel as moisturized as it is after using the eShave kit, and the ASB is a large part of that.

Here in Oz the eShave products are a little more expensive than, say, TOBS. I'm not sure how it is in the States, but I would think this is one of the reasons for their lack of recognition.

I have tubs of the Floral and the Orange Sandalwood creams, and love them.

I think eShave creams are terrific, and I don't think they're under-rated as the people that try them seem to really rate them highly. The OP is on the money in saying that they're overshadowed in popularity and notoriety by AoS, the 3Ts et al.

I also wish they didn't make their preshave oils using peanut oil. I would love to use everything in the Orange Sandalwood lineup, but jabbing myself with an anapen each morning would really take a lot of time.

My first cream was the eShave unscented and have also tried samples of the almond, lavendar, white tea and lime. I also use the unscented pre-shave oil on most of my shaves. It is pricier than TOBS, etc and I've not had enough experience to say it is worth the extra but it is definitely a high performing cream.
I've also got the unscented ASB but am not convinced by it yet. It seems a bit heavy/slick and sits on the face rather than being absorbed very well. I've only used it a couple of times as it has a lot of competition due to me trying lots of different samples at the moment. I'll keep trying from time to time to see how it matches up with the other ASB's I am accumulating

I really like the eShave products - shave creams and aftershave creams.

I second the notion. I like their soaps even better than their creams... which are also excellent.

I have recently made a switch, for the time being, to Jack Black aftershave soothing gel, and relegated the eShave aftershave balm to general moisturizing duties for now.

The eShave creams are as good as they get.

    Great creams despite their vegetarianism.

I have the Verbena Lime; really great cream. Haven't used their preshave oil (don't use them at all), or their balms (I am a splash user). I will buy Eshave again. It would be nice if they made it in a larger 6 oz. tub.

The soaps (veg based) also lather up a storm. Never tried the cream.

Awesome. I decided to buy a bunch more since it is that highly thought of. I figured I could pass along a great deal in the BST on whatever I decide not to keep for myself. The pull of the Almond is STRONG. Just not sure what aftershave I have that I could follow it with. Got a few soaps too.

Also, the couple of tubs of Cucumber that I picked up have a different label and the cream appears a bit more liquidy. I called eShave, and they told me that they started using the old silver label on a new formulation since they had a bunch of silver labels around. The dreaded "new formulation". GASP

My favorite cream. Moisturizing, super slick. I have the white tea and it's strong but smells great.

I may switch out all my creams for just eShave and maybe my 1903 (also amazing cream).

Got the verbana lime and tea balms as a present. I really like them. Have not tried any of their other products yet

I fell in love with the EShave White Tea shaving cream and companion ASB. That scent is just plain addictive.

Nice bump. I finally got around to using the eShave Lavender, and it was fantastic. Great lather and an awesome lavender scent. Not much else you can ask for. I previously had a huge stash of all kinds of eShave stuff, and I sold off quite a bit of it on the BST. I still have a few tubs of various scented creams left over, and based on the performance of the Lavender that I tried, I'm kinda glad I didn't get them sold. God knows how long it will take me to work through all the stuff that I have sitting around, but eShave will have a permanent spot in my lineup.

BTW their Almond scent is great too. I have only smelled it thus far, but if it performs like the Lavender, it will have Cella beat on both scent and performance (IMO).
