    Default newbie looking for info

i recieved these blades in a trade but i have this one that is of real interest. It's a Case & Sons SE razor with the word "monkey" written on the tang. I just want to know if i had a fruitful trade or not. Any info would be greatly appreciated. BTW I want to know what the scale inlay was. Thank you for your time.

Are there any logos on the blade? Anything on the other side of the shank?

From "Knives and Razors" by Jim Sargent:

Case had razors made in Germany between the Wars.
    W. R. Case and Sons (1920-1940)
These razors were made to look just like Case razors of the period. The tang reads " Made by Solingen Germany Experts" (on the mark side).
Handles are of various colored celluloids, molded in a classic shape.
Though they are not quite as rare as the early German razor, they are still very hard to find.
This is the second German invasion of Case razors, which came sometime between 1920 and the start of WWII. The first was between 1905 - 1915 and had floral patterns engraved on the spine.

But would you happen to know what the scale inlay was, or the significance of the word monkey written on the tang? Thank you all for this information

Monkey is just the model name. The inlay is a monkey (shocking, right?) with a razor above it's head.

Long shot. Would you happen to have a photo or any possible way to procure the inlay?
