Thankfully, replacements are easy to find!

Always been a fan of Bodum, myself. They've got glass, polycarb (shatter resistant), and insulated stainless (indestructible) models.

I own a few bodum FPs for work and home that have held up nice over the years.

If you've got an Ikea close by, they have a nice polished double-wall stainless french press for around $30. It'll brew 1 liter (33.8oz) or less. Otherwise, Bodum is an easy-to-find reliable stand-by.

I've got one of these. Doesn't break and it stays hot. I like it.

Good ole Bodum is the most easily available...Target for $20 or you might find one at a TJ MAxx or Marshall's for $10.

Careful w/the ones at Target; they're the low-end options, and often have cheap plastic where nicer ones have metal. Maybe you don't care, but I thought I'd mention it.

BB&B has nicer ones, and you can get 20% pretty easily.

I bought the last one from starbucks. Had a gift card there and got that. Not sure what brand it was. I'll look around at some of these others.
