Mergress?

Although I normally use a straight razor
I recently wanted an adjustable razor and I bought a Futur, although I liked the TTO action of the Progress, I did not like the plastic knob. I have since discovered that a modified version, called the Mergress, is available with a stainless steel knob. I have heard that the person who makes these makes other mods to improve the razor.
Does anybody out there know what these mods are? And any opinions on the Mergress would be welcome.

Mergress is a very nice solid Razor, i have the Mergress XL , got it from Lees Razors , he is usally sold out in a few hours after posting them on his web site, So you can get on his mailing list and he will notify you of availability, be sure to buy quickly or you will miss the Mergress boat,

My only complaint is that it doesnt have the best chrome finish, besides that its a nice solid hefty razor :o)

Progress/Megress is not TTO. It is a 2 piece. The Merkur TTO is the Vision 2000 but it is not as aggressive as either the Futur or Progress.

The other mods are designed to make the adjustability more consistent.
The XL is super-modified. It's the standard modification of the longer-handled razor.
