Necessity is the mother
It is good, but for the price, I will take Arko. Have you tried it yet?

A great stick for sure. I like the mild, soapy scent. Mine is on deck again for tomorrow.

Valobra works very well for me and is in my travel kit. Of course, being a soap hoarder, so are five other sticks...

Arkos strong scent is its drawback for me, although it is a good value.
I just was really happy with the shave I got from this.

The scent is fantastic and the performance is great but the greasy post shave feel is what I don't like about it [and the other Italian soaps]. I still have a Valobra bath soap I haven't tried yet...that should be good in the upcoming winter.

Palmolive is as good and much cheaper. Scent is nice and mild also. Speick is my favorite but pricey but in the same ballpark as Valobra.
Valobra is perhaps the finest shave stick I agree.... but I like Arko, Speick, Tabac, and Palmolive as well.
