Default Interesting restore of a vintage "shaving brush"

I put shaving brush in quotes because I am not sure if that was the original purpose. Anyway, my uncle sent this to me. Unfortunately, it isn't some family heirloom, it was just something he picked up on eBay because he said he wanted to give me a challenge. Removing the hairs was very easy as they were held in with wires. I then drilled out a hole in the piece they held the old hairs and made a ring around the new pure badger hair brush from The Golden Knot. The rod with the dog...that's actually screwed straight into the bottom of the brush itself. I don't know how sturdy this thing is, but hey, it's restored. Oh yeah, a light scrub with Brasso polish gave it a tiny shine.

He was watching his enemy instead of listening to his leader and it cost him.

Hmmmm... "The Copper Dog and Badger," that sounds like a pub. Nicely done.
