    Default Thanks for the forums!!

There are just SO many blades, and I know they're all personal and everyone has different experiences, yet there are popular ones and sharpness I believe can be quantified. However, the fact that people literally list out just about every available blade and their ranking, their idea on sharpness, it just gives a great starting point for someone like me just trying to figure out which blades to try out.

I think I'd be completely lost without B&B, I actually may go so far as to say I don't know if I'd ever pick up wet shaving if there wasn't such a great support group to be able to field questions too. Unfortunately I don't have older familial generations to guide me, so B&B it is.

Thanks guys!!! I love how the blades are listed out by everyone, obviously there are differing opinions but it still is a GREAT point to start from

I agree. I'm glad I stumbled on this site while googling safety razors when the idea of using one for my legs first ocurred to me. Invaluable advice and info and experience here.

I found this forum because of my fiance, whose been a wet shaver for years and has been trying to talk me into it for awhile. It's been a great resource for me, especially on soaps since I have such super-sensitive skin.

I've been trying to talk people with super sensitive skin into this too, but they always say "I've tried everything it won't work" it's a pain sometimes to get people to change, but once they try it once....

+1 for the B&B Forum. So much help and information has come to me through being part of this community. I would have spent years trying to figure out how to do some of these things correctly in a way that works for me.
Wishing I was back on the AT.

B&B has become my go to forum on many non shaving subjects, also. For example, recently I had a question about a fountain pen not working properly and posted a question in the Nib forum. I was all set to send it out for repair and I knew that would be expensive. Instead I asked in the nib forum and got a number of good answers and a flush suggested by a member cured the problem for pennies instead of dollars. Similarly questions I have had about smokers and fillet knives gave me some good advice.

Sure does seem like the hobbies overlap with pipes, pens and possibly knives and guns. I only like the latter and hopefully I can keep it that way, those fountain pens aren't cheap!

A lot more girls coming in, hopefully I can convince my girlfriend. I have her lathering and using (I think it's a Schick Hydro? I never cared for these 4-5 blade cartridge names) but I am waiting to see if she will try a DE one day...I don't think she NEEDS to though, the lather is probably plenty just because she doesn't have sensitive skin.

So many Blades, so many Soaps, so many ways of doing things and to think that YMMV.

It is indeed nice to find a nice support group to ask question to or to read about the experience of others.

    So Thanks to B&B.
